3 Girl Champions

We came……..We ran……..We did it!!!

Unbelievable. An early start on Sunday morning saw us piling onto the mini bus at Lineham Farm and shooting up the motorway to Newcastle. We parked at the finish and got on the shuttle to the start. The weather was superb for running. We each ran our own race. Lynn ran 2:02, Alison 2:15 and Carolyn 2:35. What was really amazing, was that we found each other at the end amongst the 50,000 finishers!

Thank you to all our sponsors, we have just about raised enough money to buy Aid’s leg exerciser. Adi is really grateful too, he says “it is going to make such a big difference.”

3 girls running…..the Great North Run……. Sunday Sept 30th 2007

Hi, it’s Ali, Carolyn and Lynn here and we 3 girls are mad enough to be doing The Great North Run. It’s a whole half marathon, that’s over 13 miles starting on the motorway in Newcastle and finishing by the beach at South Shields

Can you help?

We’re running to raise money for Adrian Gibson, a very good horse riding friend of ours who broke his neck (C5/C6) last year and was paralysed from the chest down.
Although the NHS offers support whilst in hospital and Social Services provide home care, when it comes to equipment, to maintain health and improve the quality of life, well, then you're on your own.
So we can help by raising some much needed funds. All you have to do is sponsor us and it’s incredibly easy!!
