Why am I doing the Great North Run?
Because I’m mad probably and I’m the sort of girl who can’t help but be attracted to a challenge!
Why am I really doing it? Well mostly because Adrian is a great bloke and he deserves to have the best we can get for him.
Like Adi (well and Lynn and Cal) I love horse riding and the thought of not being able to ride again would be hard for any of us to contemplate. But Adi has had so much more than just the riding taken from him and if I can help even give him a little bit back by slogging up and down the hills of Newcastle (yeah Cal thanks for telling me about the hills I was hoping it’d be flat!!) and ask you guys to sponsor me for my effort then I’ll be a happy girl.
Oh and thanks as well to my lovely husband Ian and my gorgeous kids Oliver and Madeleine for supporting me through my sporadic training over the last few months…..
I hope to do everyone proud and raise some cash along the way – please give til it hurts!
